I think you bring up a LOT of valid concerns and issues that we are all struggling with in the current landscape of public education, especially here in NY! One thing that resonated with me is the idea of promoting a culture of collaboration - that is it in a nutshell- lets flatten the walls and work together. It takes a village to educate a child!
Nice work!
TonyTonySinanishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00624064743310267544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5759147788057884865.post-65118720441593436982013-11-05T04:36:08.951-08:002013-11-05T04:36:08.951-08:00I liked what you said about the teacher behavior t...I liked what you said about the teacher behavior towards a student or towards students. Often not considered in these situations. A student who feels like a valued learner with a voice in their learning will most likely rise to the occasion. Those who are continuously put down, will wonder why it is even worth it. They are just so young and it is the teacher who speaks life or death over a student in the classroom. Speak life! khurdhorsthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12601371701118126527noreply@blogger.com
